In December 2018, the Florida International University (FIU) News website featured an article entitled: Professor only U.S. representative participating in European Union DNA project.
The article describes how Professor Marcus Cooke, a long time user of the Comet Assay IV solution, has been accepted as a management committee observer, on behalf of the college, for the European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST) proposal hCOMET.
